Impermanence is a projection on a sand structure that takes the form of a bowl. This form was created upon digging for several hours and solidifying the sand and the avalanches on the spot in Meliha, Sharjah. The digging process in the video projection is what resulted in the structure on show. The work deals with the act of digging as an action that is taken to preserve, hide, discard, bury, neglect or search for a valuable/invaluable possession.
